The Walking Dead Game Episode 1-5 Xbox 360 Review There are very few games which deserve high praise for the story. Story's that get or mad or make you cry. They say video games are consider a good work of art if it can make you feel. Well this one does that soooo very well. You will get attached to these characters. On xbox live and in stores on a DVD is The Walking Dead Game. This is a season game, much like a TV show. This was released every couple of months. It follows the story of the comic book in which a disease has spread making zombies. You don't need to read the comics to understand the game at all. It is it's own story. You play as Lee a man on his way to prison right before the zombie outbreak. I can't say a whole lot without give away some spoilers so I'm really not going to talk about the story. First the sound, the voice acting in this is really good movie quality although I feel sometimes some of the people don't convey feeling that well besides getting mad and shouting. I really think the best voice acting comes from Clementine. This little girl will make you fall in love with her. She's just so innocent. The graphics are in a comic book style mixed with a little bit of a scanner darkly type. They work very well for this game, there were very few times it was a little jagged. I did notice several times there was lag and I heard it was even worse with the disc version. The controls are a little bit like heavy rain and tell tales Jurassic park. There is actually very little of shooting in this game, it's meant to be a story game with different ways to complete sections but these are little forks in the road as you will mostly end up in the same place in the end outside of some dialogue options, the last episode being the best as far as different choices impacting the game. I can not stress this enough the story is good, I myself cried and cheered and gasped at some of the plot points. You really never have to look through walk through for this game as it never completely stumps you. In the end I give this game a 9/10
