Well here i am doing my first indie xbox 360 title, I wanna say thank you to Jason for providing me a review copy. You may think that will make me a little bi-est but, I'm going to do the same type of review as alwas, honest. The concept of Spring Break In Zombie USA is the same as a road trip only there is not a whole lot to see in this game. You start off going to rescue your sister who has decided to go on spring break right in the middle of a zombie outbreak, how? Well your going to take a road trip to get to her, and that's what this game consist of. Driving from town to town. You drive the van or SUV to the next town, having to stop to help people fighting zombies in the middle of the street. These people are very useless and for some reason they never died in my play through, although you will die and quite easy too. Which brings me to my first point, some zombies are just too fast and very quickly you find your self completely covered in zombies, and there is very little you can do. Only shoot them while you take damage and when you die that's it, no continues from what i could gather and you have to redo all the miles you traveled and more then likely you won't want to as there is little to see aside from some buildings. You might not know this right away but if you get out and walk to the buildings you can actually visit them. There is only three options to do in these buildings which translate to ether getting health, a weapon or filling your happy meter, who doesn't want to be happy on a road trip? There is a option to rob some stores but it only worked for me once after a handful of the clerk(who is also a zombie) biting me. This is a good game play option but I almost missed it as there is no obvious sign that you can visit these buildings. Now the trial version says upon unlocking the full version you can steal cars, I only saw the van you start off with and a SUV after you kill some crazy humans. The graphics are passable and the cartoon cut scenes are ok but as you drive there is so little animation it kinda feels like a cartoon in the 80's. I gotta say I love the concept of a road trip in the middle of a zombie outbreak but it didn't get me going very much in this game. There is some sound but nothing too great. They do have weather effects which i thought was really smart and cool. There is a option to play with anther player but there is only me in the house and the online option I couldn't find anyone on. For a dollar though It does entertain for 10 mins or so. I think if they improve some stuff they might have a good time waster on their hands. It might be more suited for Iphone though. I give this indie a indie score of 2/5
