Final Fantasy 3 Snes Review
As promised it's me review of one of the best role playing games for super Nintendo. It's also cemented as one of the best role playing games of all time. I remember walking in a snow storm to rent this from blockbuster video. Oddly enough the begging of the game has you driving a mech through a snow storm. The story is the best story I have ever seen in a video game. I mean it's pretty standard, man goes crazy with power and try's to rule and destroy the world. The difference in this game is half-way into the game Kefka actually succeeds in destroying the world as everybody knows it. Kefka is truly evil. He poisons a whole town and kills countless people. That's just one of the stories. There are over a dozen hero's who each have the own story. A lot of them are very griping. The main plot is the emperor is trying to revive the forbidden power of magic, while his first in command Kefka wants to rule the world and destroy everything. There really isn't a main hero as there are a bunch of people you play as. Each has their role in the main story and together they will fight and try to stop Kefka. The graphics I be leave are the best super Nintendo had to offer. There is no way to describe them other then just smooth and clean. They may be in sprite form but a lot of emotion is conveyed in them. The sound and music is on par with Chrono Trigger. The opera scene is one of my favorite music scores in a game. There is some emotion in most the scores that play. The music definitely makes you feel the story. The controls are very standard for a role playing game. The magic system is my favorite mechanic in a video game. You select a esper which you can summon and the more you fight the more you learn magic. Each esper has it's own magic you can learn. This game is very long. Just as you think you beat it it turns out you are only half-way through. The world map and cities also change half-way through. There is some major despair the hero's face after the world gets destroyed. This is a game I recommend to everyone. This will hold a place in my heart forever. I give this game 10/10
