Borderlands 2 Xbox 360 Review
I'll start with saying I was not a big Borderlands fan. I didn't care much for the first one. I felt it was very repetitive. I did like the zombie and arena dlc, but hat was really it. On a whim I decided to rent Borderlands 2, Needless to say I saved up my money and bought a copy as soon as I could. What I think you need to do before going into this game is get a mind set that this game is like a World Of Warcraft game, only first person shooter type. The story connects with the first one. Handsome Jack is drilling all over trying to harvest Euridoum, did I spell that right? He's tricked a new set of vault hunters to come and then back stabs them, it's up to you and three other friends to strike back and Jack and rid the world of him. He is up to something but play the game to find out, I don't like to write spoilers. The graphics are very well done by Gearbox. They go for a cell shading which works for this game very well. The voice acting I thought was really good. I loved claptrap. The controls are pretty stranded for a shooter, but let me make this clear this is a RPG. You will get skills unique to who ever you play as. The main draw of the game is to kill and get better loot while leveling up. there are a ton of side quest and some story thrown in. Jack is truly a mean villain, sometime I did feel like he was a little over the top. The four vault hunters from the first game are present in this game and act as mission givers. There are a lot of areas to explore once the game opens up. Truly the begging when you are restricted until you get to sanctuary did feel like a grind but it does get better. They have some dlc for it but I only really played the Tourge dlc, which I did like but once I completed the game I didn't feel the need to go back, but if you do there is a true vault hunter mode that cranks up the difficulty and gives better loot. I enjoyed this game and I give it a 7/10
