ATM Horror Movie Review
I just recently picked up a new horror movie ATM. I had heard a little bit about it on Bloody-disgusting. I saw it at Walmart for ten dollars and thought it was a good price for a new scary film. Was it worth it? Read on to find out. I guess there are some places out there with a smaller outside building for ATM's. You can only get in with a bank card and it's heated in the winter. I have seen a few of these tight places movies and most work. ATM pulls it off, but not in a very scary way. The films premise is three co-workers late at night have to stop at a ATM for some cash for some food. One persons card wont work so his friend goes in to help. Pretty soon the love interest shuts the car off and goes into the building. Soon after they get the money they are greeted by a man who says nothing and has a hood that hides his face. He just stands there watching them until someone outside comes along. The man then kills the person outside all while the three co-workers are watching through the glass walls. There is no clear indication as to why the man is there. He prevents them from getting to the car and seems to be trying to get into the building. It seems he is playing a sick game of cat and mouse. What will happen to them? You'll have to watch to find out. The ending I liked and you realize how sick this guy is. The film stars Josh Peck from The Nickelodeon show Drake and Josh. I felt like he was really trying to be different from his role on there and he seemed a little fake in it. The film also stars Alice Eve from She's Out Of Your League. The acting was pretty good otherwise. There really was no music score other then a Christmas song. I thought the set fit really well with the movie. There are some pretty good parts in the movie. A ok death count for a small casted movie. All in all I'm glad I bought the movie and I felt it was priced just right for the content. I give this film a 7/10
